
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted sweet cream butter, softened (microwave it for 20 seconds if refrigerated)
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup light brown sugar, packed
½ dark brown sugar, packed
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp table salt or sea salt
A dash of cinnamon
2 cups chocolate chips (Hershey's semi-sweet)
Directions
i. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
ii. In a medium bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
iii. Mix together butter and sugars on high until combined, should be fluffy.
iv. Beat in eggs and vanilla until light
v. Mix in the dry ingredients to combine
vi. Add chocolate chips and mix well.
vii. Roll dough into balls and place them evenly spaced on parchment paper
viii. Bake for approximately 8 minutes. Depends on your oven. Take them out when they look very slightly brown on top. VERY SLIGHTLY BROWN. They will continue to cook when you remove them so don’t overbake. I mean unless you prefer well-done cookies
ix. Let them sit on the pan for 3 minutes and then transfer to the cooling rack
